How we used influencers marketing tactics to persuade Floridians to Vote No on 3.

On the surface, Amendment 3 seemed like a simple ballot measure to legalize marijuana in the state of Florida. But upon inspecting the fine print, it was a terrible deal for Floridians, opening the door to the black market, corporate carve-outs, and unrestrained public marijuana use. Enter Keep Florida Clean.

In tandem with an iterative managed social media campaign, we worked directly with influencers to amplify the campaign’s reach and credibility, with an “always on” approach to pushing out key messages. By collaborating with trusted voices who aligned with our message, we extended our content to their engaged audiences for a massive signal boost.

And we got results:

Over 50 posts were promoted by various influencers across X and Instagram.

No on Amendment 3 saw an average engagement rate of 3.6%, with posts averaging 11,138 impressions and 397 engagements.

And on Election Day, Amendment 3 was defeated.
